​Rwanda Consult and Safaris was started by Gedeon BIRASA (who is the managing Director). He has completed Degree in Marketing and Management, Diploma in Tourism and Masters in International Development. This company is based in Musanze District, in the northern part of Rwanda. This is where the Volcano National Park , commonly known as the home of the famous Mountain gorillas is located. Musanze (former Ruhengeri) is surrounded by a chain of no less than seven volcanoes, one of them more than 4500 meters high and forming a natural border with Uganda , Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda .

Rwanda Consult and Safaris is reputable tour operator and is known for promoting community tourism in the region. Rwanda is the most peaceful country in Africa , the country is commonly known for the events of 1994 Tutsi genocide, which led to the loss of more than Million victims.

Enable Local communities to directly benefit from conservation and tourism. Rwanda Consult and Safaris ensures local people, particularly those neighboring protected areas and tourism attractions, benefit more directly from tourism. By contributing 10% of our profits to local communities, we support them both technically and financially in developing small-scale, tourism enterprises as a link to sustainable conservation. We envision strengthening this support by encouraging our tourists to visit these projects and see for themselves how their travel is contributing towards improving the livelihoods of local people as well as the attractions they visit. This will not only open tourism markets to local enterprises, but also encourage visitor and community interactions.
