Safari Camp

Adventure Camping in Rwanda with Rwanda Consult and Safaris is the best way to get a real taste of Africa camping . Rwandan camping sites are mostly provided with the tents and we also provide food at the camp sites.

Akagera National Park Camping

Camping alongside the picturesque lakes of Akagera is a truly mystical introduction to the wonders of the African bush. Lining the lakes are some of the continent’s densest concentrations of water birds, while the connecting marshes are the haunt of the endangered and exquisite papyrus gonolek, and the bizarre shoebill stork; the latter perhaps the most eagerly sought of all African birds. Akagera National park generally features a large concentration of bird life with over 520 species identified including the endemics such as the jacanas, ibis, sand pipers and herons.

Amahoro Island Camp Site

Amahoro Island is on Lake Kivu about 20-minute boat ride from the town of Kibuye. Amahoro means peace in Kinyarwanda and this teeny, tiny island in the middle of a fantastically serene and beautiful lake, is really peaceful indeed. Amahoro Island is nestled in between around five other islands, one of which is called Napolean where you find Bats. There is a nice camping site. with all camping packages, there is some kinds of animals on the island and the Beautiful Sun Sets. There is most colourful birds. Rwanda Consult and Safaris will help you enjoy all these Adventures.

Uwinka Camp Site in Nyungwe National Park

There are camping facilities at Uwinka, if tourists choose to stay the night in the forest. It is advisable for the tourists to bring their own food with them for their stay at Uwinka in the forest.

Proceed to Rwanda Consult and Safar to check in and reserve a campsite or cabin space at Uwinka. you do get a guy who lights your fire for you. This may sound a bit unnecessary but after a cold night (apparently it can get down to 0C here due to the altitude), waking up to a roaring fire is heaven!
